We have put as much information below to help you plan your journey to Chamonix. Once you book with us we will also send you a link with actual directions to each apartment and information packs to view / download on Chamonix too.

By Air

Travel to Geneva Airport and Chamonix is only about 1 - 1½ hours drive.

You can also fly to Lyon but the drive time is 2½ - 3 hours.

There are lots of cheap flights all year round (especially when booked in advance).

Traveling from the Airport to Chamonix

Car Hire

When hiring a car to collect from Geneva Airport, remember to say you want to collect the car Swiss side – (not French side).

When you go through customs at Geneva Airport the car hire desks are to the left. If you hire a car make sure you have enough Euro coins on you for the two tolls, €1.70 and €3.50 or if you only have notes, go through the toll with the green cross.
