Full Description

The large 3 double/twin bedroom chalet (all ensuite) is set in the tranquil surroundings of Le Buet with easy access by car or train (10 mins) to Le Tour and Argentiere, and is  furnished & decorated to the highest standard offering modern facilities with traditional features.

Originally part of the old railway station this building with its solid granite walls and original oak stairs was converted  in 1999. Initially intended to be a home, it has been lovingly decorated and furnished to a high standard creating a cosy feel with more personal effects and detail than you might find in other self catered chalets. The king size African bed hand made from dhow wood, the free standing cast iron bath and the uniquely designed fireplace are a few of the features that this chalet offers.

Location

le Buet is a hamlet situated between the village of Vallorcine and Argentiere. It is 1 hour 15 minutes from Geneva airport by car or you can take the train from Geneva airport to Martigny, change there and ride the Mont Blanc express up the hill to Le buet station - 1 minute walk from our chalets!

Notes to the rental rates

  • These rental rates are based on self catering only. A flexi catering service can be provided on request which might entail a daily cleaning service, food bought for you or a chef provided to cook a couple nights in the week. Linen and towels can also be provided for self catering guests upon request. we have purposefully set the week to start and end on a Sunday so that you can take advantage of the long weekend option ( Thurs pm to Sunday ). With being situated only 1 hours 20 mins from Geneva airport long weekends are very popular. Rates for long weekends to be discussed with the owners. Special offer for weeks between March 11 - 25, 2007 20% off published prices!!
  • 30% deposit will be required on booking. A breakage deposit of £400 is payable with the final balance and is fully returnable when you leave the chalet as you found it.
  • April and early May in Chamonix can provide excellent ski touring which is why we continue renting until mid May. One of the best tours from Flegere brings you out at the Hotel Buet, 3 mins walk from the chalet. A guide can be provided for touring activities.
