Chamonix Valley is divided into 5 main skiing areas, with the village of Les Houches being one of these areas where Chalet Eveland is found. The chalet is in the centre of Les Houches close to the Bellevue ski lifts, ski hire shop, restaurants, bars and shops too. It is also only a 10 minute drive to Chamonix centre or you can catch the bus or local train to explore the other ski areas in the valley with the Grand Montet, Brevent, Mont Blanc, Flegere and Le Tour just up the valley, the skiing potential in the area is endless.

In the summer, Les Houches and Chamonix valley is famous for its mountain biking, walking, rock and ice climbing, as well as paragliding, golf and many other activities. Not to mention the childrens adventure playgrounds, the summer luge and beautiful walks too.

Please note if you are driving or hiring a car the short road up to the chalet (60m) can get icy and therefore a 4x4 vehicle with snow tryes is recommended, you should also carry snow chains as standard in your car in Chamonix. There is also a small car park at the bottom of the driveway that you can use if required.
