This is a truly beautiful one bedroom apartment, situated on the third floor of a period Chamonix Residence right in the centre of Chamonix just off Rue de Moulin. Furnished to a very high standard with stylish antique furniture throughout, the apartment also benefits from a large open plan living room with sunny balconies on 2 sides of the building with stunning views of Mont Blanc. There is also a fully fitted modern kitchen, and modern bathroom suite, antique mahogany dining table, wifi and cable TV with UK news channels. The apartment overlooks the river L'Arve and the town centre. There is private underground parking, please be aware if you are hiring a car there is a height restriction for the car park so we advise you not to hire big 4 x 4's and roof boxes.

Apartment Overview

The apartment is on the third floor of a period Chamonix town house. It overlooks the river l'Arve with two balconies leading off the living area. The building is serviced by a lift and also a beautiful Parisian style large spiral staircase. The living room is large and grand with a kitchen and breakfast area, a living area & dining area. The dining area is immediately to the right as you enter the room. There is a stunning antique mahogany dining table with 4 matching chairs which is well positioned by one of the 3 sets of french patio doors that lead onto the balconies, and boasts spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi from inside and out. The sofa area has a large 3-seater deep red sofa, & an armchair. This is again positioned by another set of french doors leading onto the balcony. There is also a TV as well as a hi-fi for your use. Opposite the sofa is additional seating. The kitchen area, which is immediately on your left as you enter the room, has a fully fitted kitchen with stainless steel electric oven, 4 ring hob, and microwave oven. There is also a dishwasher, coffee machine, and toaster. The kitchen is well fitted out with all the crockery, and cooking utensils you could possible need. There is also a breakfast counter that separates the kitchen from the rest of the room with two stools. The third set of patio doors lead from the end of the room onto the second balcony which overlooks the river l'Arve. Across from the river is Chamonix Museum and a small park.

The apartment is right on the river in the centre of Chamonix, and has unspoilt views over the Chamonix roof tops looking out towards Mont Blanc, the Aiguilles de Midi, and the Aiguilles Rouges. There are many restaurants, bars and shops right on your doorstep, and short walk to Le Savoy ski lift which takes you to Brevent telepherique.

Lovely apartment. There is enough room to be very comfortable, especially if you're considering a longer stay than the usual 1 week. Chamonix All year gave us the right place to do our favorite thing - to be in Cham.

Please thank Angela for us, we used her airport transfers and she even gave us a guided tour on the way to the apartment so we could get our bearings. You've both been so helpful.
