Chalet Mammoth

Just a short walk from Chamonix centre, this stunning chalet has 6 bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms, and also benefits from it's own garden, sun deck and 8 person hot tub / Jacuzzi. There are 2 double bedrooms, 3 twin bedrooms that can be made up as doubles, and one further twin bedroom. All the bedrooms have been cleverly arranged to allow stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The open plan living area is light and spacious with a real Log fireplace, dining for up to 12, a large corner sofa and two further sofas and a large kitchen ideal for catering for large groups. After skiing you can put your boots and skis out of the way to dry in the boot room. The chalet also benefits from sky freeview channels and wifi internet access.

The chalet is situated within a 10-15 minute walk of the centre of Chamonix in a quiet and peaceful location and has a good size garden and terrace surrounding sides of the chalet. The hot tub is situated on the terrace that leads off the living room, and there is a also an outside table and chairs for alfresco dining in the sunshine.

My boyfriend and I went to Chamonix for our summer holiday - after he had set his panic aside about going to a ski resort and not taking his snowboard we settled  into the idea of seeing Chamonix in all its glory and not covered in snow! We were notdisappointed. The chalet is gorgeous, tucked away from the main road and nestled in the valley with gorgeous morning views of both Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc from the comfort of your bed! It was lovely spending the evening with a glass of wine on the private terrace and watching Mont Blanc change in the late afternoon.The chalet has everythingyou need for a home from home (wifi, tv, dvds, hot tub), it is clean with all the mod cons required if you just wanted to rustle up a dinner before heading out. It is clean and well looked after. Location is great and only a 10 minute walk into town and also an ideal location for venturing out of Chamonix and driving to Lake Passy (25 mins by car). It really is a fantastic place to chill out and relax and enjoy the sun.

A wonderful spacious chalet with all the charm of a traditional chalet but fully modernised thus ensuring both comfort and tradition. Take advantage of the jacuzzi on the terrace to ease aching limbs  after a hard day on the piste before settling around the roaring fire for a cosy evening.Lovely ensuite bedrooms and plenty of storage space in the garage below for equipment. Would highly recommend!"

This is a great chalet.  Perfect for getting to all the skifields and only a short stroll into town.  It was clean, well cared for and very well equipped.  It's exactly how I'd love to have a holiday home on the slopes.
