Situated just a short walk along the river into Chamonix town centre, the modern chalet style duplex apartment (42m2) is in a great sunny location facing Mont Blanc, surrounded by pine trees & communal gardens. The apartment sleeps 2-6 people comfortably and has the added benefit of having 2 bathrooms. There is one double bedroom on the first floor with ensuite bath, shower attachment, sink and toilet, and bunk beds on the open plan mezzanine. Downstairs is a double sofa bed in the lounge, open log fire, modern kitchen plus a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment also has sky freeview TV, wifi internet for the building, a secure garage and ski cave. The apartment benefits from a south facing, sunny balcony overlooking pine forests & amazing views of Mont Blanc.

Just a short walk (10 - 15 minutes into the centre of Chamonix) the apartment is situated in an exclusive residential commune of Chamonix called Plaine des Praz. With communla lawns and a beautiful alpine lakes surrounding the chalet, the location is very peaceful and scenic. The river l'Arve also runs past the chalet, alongside which runs the foot path into town. The sports centre, with tennis courts & swimming pool, and the rafting centre can also all be found along the river just a short stroll from the apartment.

I'd been meaning to drop you a note to say thanks very much for everything. We really enjoyed ourselves despite some dodgy weather and the apartment was ideal for us. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Angela was such a star especially ferrying us to and from the airport (definitely the right decision there!) and I can imagine a real asset to you as well. Thanks for an amazing holiday. The short break was just what we needed to escape London! Snow conditions perfect and incredible to be out on the sun decks for the après ski at the same time! Chamonix is definitely a place I want to keep coming back to. In fact I have decided to buy a place there too!

Jo, what can we say, we had a superb week, probably the best boarding we’ve ever had. I had no idea Chamonix Valley was so big! Loved the boarding in Grand Montet and Le Tour especially. The Vallee Blanche run was just awesome! Thanks for letting us use the apartment, slept 6 no problem as you promised and the second bathroom was great for the early morning starts too!

What a great place!  We had a fantastic weather window for 3 days and spent the time up over 10,000 ft at the Aiguilles du Tour above Argentiere.  The photos are being put on a friends website - he is a pro outdoor cameraman so they should be good!.
