Heli ski
Go where few have ever skied, riding terrain inaccessible by lifts and enjoy descents from summit to valley throughout the day. Available to intermediate through to expert skiers, there is no better way to finish your weeks skiing.
Heliski packages are 2 day as they always include an initial day with Ski Pro / Mountain Guide on the Grands Montets in the Chamonix Valley. This day, as well as being enjoyable to all parties, will allow a professional evaluation of client skier ability and establish the essential respect and trust needed between guest and Ski-Pro or Mountain Guide.
As skiing will take place on both Grands Montets in the Chamonix Valley, and on the Courmayeur pistes in Italy, all packages will require a Mont Blanc Unlimited Ski Pass.
Val Veny Two Drop - Intermediate to Advanced skiers
After a day to meet the guide and get your legs back into shape on the Grands Montets, we head through the tunnel to Italy for a real coffee to start day two. First drop is on the Col des Pyramides is swiftly followed by a 2nd where we’ll fly up to Mt Fortin enabling us to enjoy more off-piste skiing down to Zerotta. We can then access the Courmayeur lift system (for the afternoon session, a Mont Blanc Unlimited pass is needed). After a late but hearty lunch, continue to shred the Italian resorts off piste slopes till home-time comes, grabbing a beer on the way.
- 2 day Ski Professional, harnesses and Arva’s, all transport and helicopter drops.
Groups of 4 people: 445€ per person
Glacial Two Drop - Advanced Skiers Only
One for the bigger boys! The initial ‘getting to know you’ day on the Grands Montets will be a fun thrash through the crevasses of the Argentiere glacier, re-honing last year’s technique and strengthening legs ready for day two. An early start to get through the Mont Blanc tunnel and to the chopper pad will allow for a 1st drop onto the Aiguille du Glacier and following a pick up below the Refugio Elizabetta and then a 2nd drop high on the ridge of Mt Fortin, to tackle the steeper descent to the valley floor. After a congratulatory lunch, scorch the Courmayeur pistes or search out even more heavenly spots off-piste with your guide before coming home.
2 day Mountain-guide, harnesses and Arva’s, all transport and helicopter drops.
Groups of 4 people: 480€ per person
The Ultimate 3 Drop - Expert Skiers Only
With the training day at the Grands Montets out of the way, legs feeling strong and with fire in your belly, rush through the Mont Blanc tunnel to start your second day with a strong coffee before your helicopter pilot whisks you up to the Col de la Scie 3626m enabling a jaw dropping 1 mile decent to again rendezvous with the chopper. Rising for a second time to settle on the Col Infranchissable at 3349m before skiing the untracked terrain back to the Refugio Elisabetta to rise for a final drop on the Mont Fortin and a slightly gentler push down to lunch at Zerotta on the Mont Blanc side of the Courmayeur ski area and after only one relaxing chairlift, one lazy blue and one atmospheric telepherique we will bring you back to your vehicle - very tired but extremely happy!
2 day Mountain-guide, Harnesses and Arva’s, all transport and helicopter drops.
Groups of 4 people
580€ per person
