Summer in Chamonix is a very special place and anyone who has been here during the summer months will agree. The valley provides a wealth of adventure and fun as you can explore and tackle the majestic rock faces, gushing rivers and stunning lush landscape.

Outdoor activities on offer in Chamonix are varied to appeal to any type of visitor and family. For those wanting a thrill and a challenge there are sporting activities like rock climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking, water rafting, paragliding, ice-climbing. Alternatively you may prefer to enjoy the picturesque golf course, take a leisurely walk around the prairies or relax in the nearby Italian spa. As you can see, there really is something for everyone, Chamonix has it covered!

Summer lift pass prices

If you are staying in Chamonix for a few days then the summer lift pass to get is the Multipass Mont-Blanc.  This pass allows you to take the incredible journey on Europe’s highest cable car (Aiguille du midi) to the viewing platforms for Mont Blanc and the glaciers.  Also included are the cable cars for Brevent, Flegere and Le Tour, Mont Blanc Tramway and Montenvers train to the Sea of Ice glacier.

Individual lift passes can also be purchased too.
