Look up and you’ll see why you’re here. Mont Blanc sits majestically over Chamonix. If you want to see Mont Blanc, the famous Vallée Blanche and glaciers up close, take a ride up Europe’s highest cable car; the Aiguille du Midi, reaching high into the sky at 3842m.

There is a restaurant at the top, and a viewing platform too with amazing panoramic views across the Mont Blanc massif and down to the valley below. Stop at the half way station, Plan d’Aiguille to
start the Plan de l’Aiguille – Montenvers Traverse.

It is advisable to not take children under 2yrs due to the rapid rise in altitude.

Tickets can be bought at the cable car station, or buy the MONT BLANC MultiPass which can be used on all the lifts.
